Primary Responsibilities Support the functioning of the anesthesiology role in the Operating Room and Labour and Delivery Manage mechanically ventilated patients, modifying ventilation per protocols Assist in the transport of intubated patients Perform ongoing assessment and intervention for high‑risk respiratory failure patients Achieve certification in intubation and arterial line insertion Participate in the on‑call rotation Qualifications Valid certificate from the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario New graduates invited to apply; early career talent is supported Current BCLS, ACLS certification required; PALS and NPR preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication, interpersonal, critical‑thinking, and time‑management skills Demonstrated previous clinical experience Commitment to quality patient care Home oxygen experience an asset Excellent attendance and work record Additional Responsibilities Safety (patient, worker & workplace) is a BCHS Corporate Priority. The successful applicant will demonstrate good stewardship in identifying, reporting, and mitigating unsafe acts or conditions.
