Meat Manager

What you’ll do The Meat Manager will prepare, administer and manage the sales margins, expenses, inventory and spend of the meat department. Ensure a positive customer experience by offering a friendly greeting and engaging with customers with a high-level of product knowledge to assist with purchase decisions. Responsible for the overall operations of the Meat Department Ensure adherence to the departmental budget. Oversee daily operations in the Meat department to maintain excellent customer experience Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department Ensure the Meat department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy Maintain customer standards by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns Participate in the recruitment, training, development and performance management of all team members in the department Ensure proper preparation of promotions and displays are completed Provide strong leadership and support to team members within the department Why it matters Unlike traditional businesses, we're owned by our members—the same people who use our products and services.
