Medical Laboratory TechnologistWhere YOU work, makes a difference.This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, Morning/Afternoon/Evening.Deliver high-quality laboratory services in a timely mannerPerform all aspects of Histology, including grossing specimens, embedding, microtomy, routine and special stainingEnsure sample identification is correct and specimen requirements meet established proceduresMaintain patient confidentiality and accuracy of documentationEnsure quality control standards and perform routine maintenance on lab equipmentWhat YOU bring to the role:You thrive independently, applying sound decision making principlesand ability to self-manage in fast-pacedenvironmentYou bring a high level of interpersonal skills and you are a natural fit within a collaborative working environmentCarry a CMLTO Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standingProficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate levelSolid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolutionNice to have: working experience in Immunohistochemistry(IHC)Working Conditions:Normal office environmentMedical laboratory environmentRequired walking with repetitive motionsMay sit or stand for prolonged period of time with extensive computer useRequired to lift a maximum of 30 pounds as requiredExposed to bio hazardous substances, temperature differences and noise variancesPassionate about supporting healthy lives with commitment and care? span>Dynacare has been a “Top Employer” for many years and there is a reason why.
