About Desjardins Investment IncDesjardins Investment Inc is seeking a Product Manager, Structured Notes to join its Structured Products Development and Management team. The team’s activities include idea generation, product development and positioning, structuring, hedging, and market making. Products developed include Market-Linked Guaranteed Investments (MLGI), Desjardins Structured Notes for retail investors, and equity derivatives for institutional partners. The Desjardins Investment Savings Account, offered through brokerage networks, also falls under the team’s responsibility. Reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Structured Products, you will be responsible for the commercial performance, financial viability, and competitiveness of structured notes offered to retail investors.This role requires deep expertise in derivatives, financial modeling, and structuring, combined with the ability to drive product strategy from a sell-side perspective. You will act as a conductor between technical functions (structurers, traders, quants) and business partners to design innovative, robust investment solutions tailored to market conditions.ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the product strategy, including positioning, competitive differentiation, and performance objectives.Design and structure complex derivative products based on investor needs and market conditions.Actively contribute to the development, evolution, and use of pricing models for primary and secondary markets.Collaborate closely with structurers, traders, and quantitative analysts to ensure technical and financial alignment of products.Analyze margins, risks, and hedging parameters to optimize product profitability.Manage the full lifecycle of structured notes, from ideation to maturity.Coordinate the activities of analysts assigned to the product and provide coaching.Oversee updates to legal and marketing documents intended for investors.Participate in product governance committees and performance reviews.Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.What We OfferCompetitive salary and annual bonus4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first yearDefined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirementGroup insurance including telemedicineReimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipmentBenefits apply based on eligibility criteria.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related fieldA minimum of eight years of relevant experience in structured products or derivativesOther combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.CFA designationAcademic specialization in finance, financial engineering, or a related fieldStrong communication skills in both French and English, oral and written.Expertise in financial modeling, derivative structuring, and pricing.At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
