Own and drive the product vision for Atlan's governance suite, including enterprise-grade features like granular access controls, SCIM provisioning, custom metadata frameworks, and policy orchestration. Partner with engineering to set technical direction and ensure seamless integration with existing data infrastructure. Build deep relationships with enterprise customers, conducting extensive user research and feedback sessions to validate product decisions. Translate complex governance requirements into intuitive product features that balance security with usability. Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver a cohesive governance experience. Define success metrics, track adoption, and iterate based on quantitative and qualitative data. Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new governance features, including positioning, competitive analysis, and launch planning. Work closely with marketing to articulate technical capabilities to both technical and business audiences. What makes You a Match? Proven product management experience, with demonstrable expertise in data governance, security & privacy, compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA), and enterprise software. Deep understanding of modern data architectures, metadata management, and the challenges of governing distributed data systems at scale. Working knowledge of the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt) is highly desired. Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product roadmaps and execution plans. Experience working with engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade features. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making. Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders. Track record of building strong relationships across technical and business teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
