Job Description:As a BMO Financial Planner, you will fill an important and rewarding role – helping your customers achieve their financial goals. You will be provided with industry-leading training, support as well as a portfolio of clients that you can continue to build lasting relationships.
You will work with clients to understand their personal investment and banking needs and provide strategic advice. You will also look for ways to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the overall business results and customer experience delivered.
Key Responsibilities:- Provides financial and investment planning and advice to deliver a solution in the best interests of the customer.
- Determines client needs and provides solutions through the sales of managed products and services (e.g. mutual funds, retirement savings plans, and similar products).
- Engages customers to grow BMO's business by reaching out, generating appointments, and building new relationships within the community.
- Supports the achievement of sales and performance targets.
- Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must meet the regulatory / governing body licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment.
