Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Senior Principle Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  1. Understand competitive landscape for data processing and serverless infrastructure in cloud.
  2. Architect and develop framework/engine for the next-generation data and AI system.
  3. Deeply analyze user scenarios resulting in optimized software system solution.
  4. Learn and adopt new technologies (parallel, distributed systems, large-scale data analytics system, etc.), research, survey, and present industry trends to the team.
  5. Generate innovative ideas and new patent applications.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  1. Experience leading teams and products to generate business impact and customer success stories.
  2. Able to lead and mentor team on design/technical skills including data structures, multi-threading, concurrency, performance optimizations, etc.
  3. Domain expertise in the implementation of one or more of the following: AI end to end data processing, scenarios and system optimizations, core database internals (Ex: query optimization, runtime, scheduling, storage engine, transaction processing, etc.), large scale data processing (Ex: Flink, Spark, etc.), scalable key-value store (Ex: RocksDB, LevelDB, Redis, etc.), and serverless platform infrastructures.
  4. Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  5. BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications; MS or PhD is an asset.
