Senior Infrastructure Analyst, ITWe are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced IT professional to join our team Reporting to the VP HR & Administration the Senior Infrastructure Analyst will ensure that AltaSteel’s 24 / 7 365-day business operations and processes are executed effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have experience implementing, supporting and maintaining a reliable information technology network, server and storage structure. Working as part of the IT team, the successful candidate will be able to take ownership of the networking and telephony infrastructure – while also assisting team members with the other elements.ResponsibilitiesCompliance with safety policies and completion of required safety observationsManaging and maintaining of network environment and server infrastructureManage, maintain and administrate operational camera systems, routers, switches, firewalls, Local Area Networks, Virtual Private Network and Wireless NetworkDocumenting processes / Updating infrastructure drawings and documentationMaintain accurate information of all IT Infrastructure components and assetsArchitecture and management of Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, Print, O365, Teams, SharePoint and SQL ServicesProblem diagnosis, troubleshoot, and manage through to resolution, hardware, and software problemsImplementation and maintenance of corporate backup systemsMaintain positive working relationships with multiple vendors and technology providersAbility to keep up with advancements in IT network technologiesIdentify, coordinate and participate in IT improvement projectsEvaluating, testing, and implementing technical solutions to address compliance and business needsMaintain and enhance corporate IT policies and procedures following Industry best practicesEnsure corporate IT security policies and procedures are enforced in the network, server and storage environment to protect from unauthorized accessUnderstand the business needs and commitment to deliver high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business.Qualifications and SkillsMinimum 2 year diploma in a computer systems related program, with a focus on network, server, and storage.5 years’ experience of directly related work experience in infrastructure administration and support for a small medium business environment.Advanced knowledge in administration and maintenance of firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructureAdvanced knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPO)Experience with TCP / IP and other network protocolsExperience with VPN (Site-to-site and remote)Experience with Cisco MerakiExperience in Microsoft Server Products : Windows Servers, SQL Servers, O365, Teams and SharePointExperience with Cloud infrastructure and AzureExperience in virtualization environment (VMware, Hyperconverged Infrastructure)Knowledge of Linux ServerStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to effectively prioritize multiple issues and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentDemonstrate sound business judgment with the ability to think clearly, analyze, prioritize work items, and scope out technical requirementsAttention to detailTeam playerTaking initiative and having a passion for positive resultsCCNA or CCNP is an assetExperience in operational camera systems is an assetExperience working for an organization that is required to adhere to general IT controls (GITC or ITIL) is an assetExperience supporting a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment is an assetJob DetailsCore working hours are Monday to Friday between 7 : 30am – 4 : 30pm, however evening and weekend may be required in response to implementations and systems supported.Provide rotational on-call after hour support 7x24x365Permanent, full-time position with benefits and pensionFast-paced environmentOn-site positionPre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test requiredPosting will remain active until a suitable candidate is found.Ready to apply?Complete the form below : #J-18808-Ljbffr
