Environmental Coordinator About the role Join an industry leader that has successfully performed large‑scale major infrastructure projects across Canada. Pay range CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$110,000.00/yr Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform environmental monitoring and follow‑up activities in line with environmental approvals and relevant legislation. Compile and submit reports on monitoring, inspections, and audits. Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to facilitate the execution of the Environmental Management Plan. Implement control measures to manage all environmental aspects and related issues in support of the project. Support the delivery of environmental orientation sessions for project personnel and conduct regular environmental toolbox talks as needed. Keep detailed records of environmental monitoring activities and inspections. Address environmental concerns and ensure compliance with environmental approvals and project agreements. Offer guidance and recommendations to enhance environmental protection and rectify any non‑compliance issues. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline Qualified Person (QP) certification preferred 3‑5 years of relevant experience, including with construction companies in British Columbia Knowledge of British Columbia’s environmental laws and regulations Experience on large infrastructure projects preferred Knowledge of environmental inspection methods and best practices Proficiency in MS Office Suite Conducting environmental inspections and ensuring compliance Strong communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends Application To apply for this position, please send your Word‑formatted resume to Milos.Ristic@trsstaffing.com.
