FP&A Analyst

Purpose of the position In order to develop the customer experience, excellent financial health is required, with the FP&A analyst being an essential collaborator with their business partners. This person will provide the data, budgets and analyses necessary for informed decision-making for all of Ren’s Pets major functions.

Your mission at Groupe Legault, dedicated to supporting Ren’s Pets Participate in the month-end process, prepare journal entries and identify risks and opportunities. Participate in the preparation and development of budgets and financial forecasts; Ensure budgetary control of operating costs. Participate and support the information gathering for audits. Responsible for producing and analyzing inventory, sales, margins and loyalty program reports. Complete the monthly phasing for stores and uploads. Act as a business partner for the retail, category management and marketing teams. Provide recommendations based on financial analyses. Be the economic conscience in the discussions. Participate in the continuous improvement of procedures and identify opportunities for automation and simplification of recurring accounting processes.

Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. CPA accounting designation or in progress (asset).

Special Abilities Knowledge of SAP (asset) Knowledge of NAV (asset) Knowledge of Business Object, WEB BI (asset) Knowledge of Tableau/Power BI Knowledge of the Office365 suite Knowledge of Jet Reports (asset) Fluency with Excel (mandatory) Oral and written communication skills, in English
