We currently have a requirement for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Building Engineering team in one of our offices in Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Galway, or Limerick), designing and delivering projects in Ireland and across Europe.

You will be responsible for delivery of the structural aspects of projects. The role will harness your core structural engineering skills to provide technical guidance on multi-disciplinary projects as well as leading, mentoring, and developing junior colleagues. Strong technical competence is a necessity. Diversity of thought and alternative approaches are encouraged so we can continue leading the way in the industry.We are looking for Candidates that will be looking to gain invaluable experience within an established consultancy with a friendly office environment. li>Leading and managing the structural engineering design team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to deliver engineering designs for projects or major parts of large projects, from concept to detailed design and construction.Planning and checking the project work of engineers, graduates, and technicians, with responsibility for completion of design tasks to agreed deadlines and budget.Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced members of the team.Ensuring compliance with Arup standards as set out in the company’s quality procedures.Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or similar, MEng or equivalent preferred.A minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience that has developed strong technical skills in the design and delivery of complex structural engineering projects.Proven team player with experience of leading in the design of all aspects of building structures from conceptual layout to detailed design and construction.
