    • Delegate responsibilities to team members, supervise their work, and ensure deliverables are produced according to project timelines and specifications.
    • Participate in the proposal phase, including scope definition, man-hour estimation, deliverable planning, scheduling, and resource planning.
    • Monitor the project’s execution, ensuring progress aligns with plans, reporting regularly on status and addressing any challenges or delays.

    • Support the team with complex technical issues and offer solutions to challenging design problems.
    • Conduct "cold-eye" reviews and provide final sign-off on project deliverables.
    • Oversee and mentor engineers and designers within the team, ensuring the technical integrity of their work and providing constructive feedback.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend updates to design procedures.
  3. Project Documentation & Compliance:
    • Create and maintain the Discipline Quality Plan (DQP) to ensure that project deliverables are defined, with clear roles for responsibility, approval, and consultation.
    • Coordinate document issuance, ensuring the timely review and distribution of project documents (e.g., IDRs, IFRs, IFCs).
    • Track and report on project deliverable progress through project management tools (e.g., Time-Track).
    • Assist with project close-out activities, preparing final reports and ensuring all documentation is submitted to the Technical Document Control (TDC) team for filing.
  4. Change Management & Scope Control:
    • Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring any changes are appropriately managed and communicated.
    • Initiate and process Key Decision Records (KDRs) for design or technical changes, and Engineering Work Requests (EWRs) for scope or budget adjustments.
    • Support the Project Manager with any necessary changes to the project’s cost, scope, or schedule.
    • Prepare and review MOCs (Management of Change) when approved hours are exceeded, identifying issues and proposing corrective actions.

Keys for Success:

  • Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams, including providing technical guidance and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
