From propelling our emergency vehicles, heating recreation centers, and producing electricity for local schools, the projects we build are fundamental to the communities in which we live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, intuitive design, and performance optimization.
  • Create and maintain efficient data models within Power BI, employing Power Query and DAX to perform data transformations and calculations.
  • Collaborate with line-of-business and project teams to gather requirements and translate business questions into actionable analytical solutions.
  • Partner with IT and data professionals to design technical backend and innovate on current practices.
  • Help identify areas for simplification, streamlining, and automation of reporting.
  • Provide training sessions, documentation, and best practices to end-users on Power BI.
  • Stay current on Power BI updates, features, and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Comfortable with SQL and experience working with relational and nonrelational data stores.
  • Exposure to ETL processes, databases, and data governance practices.
  • Visual design skills and ability to select appropriate visualization techniques.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into analytical tasks.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and manage deadlines appropriately.
