We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Director, ERP to lead the end-to-end management of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems on a global scale. This role is critical in driving the optimization, implementation, and governance of ERP solutions to support our organization's evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and stakeholder management skills to ensure ERP initiatives align with corporate goals and deliver maximum business value. This role is based fully onsite out of our Mississauga office location.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive global ERP strategy that aligns with organizational goals and growth objectives.
  2. Provide visionary leadership to drive ERP adoption and optimization across all business units and geographies.
  3. Partner with the executive team to ensure ERP systems support strategic decision-making and business priorities.

ERP Implementation & Optimization

  1. Lead the global implementation, consolidation and enhancement of ERP solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  2. Continuously evaluate ERP performance and identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement.
  3. Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and integrations to ensure scalability and business continuity.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  1. Engage with key stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, functional heads, and IT teams, to capture business requirements and align ERP solutions accordingly.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing expert guidance on how ERP systems can deliver operational and financial efficiencies.
  3. Ensure open lines of communication between internal teams, vendors, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.

Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management

  1. Establish robust governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, system security, and regulatory compliance across all regions.
  2. Proactively identify risks related to ERP initiatives and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  3. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure ERP effectiveness and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  4. Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing global ERP team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  5. Identify skills gaps and provide professional development opportunities to ensure team members remain at the forefront of ERP advancements.
  6. Drive innovation by staying informed on the latest ERP trends, tools, and best practices.
  7. Champion change management initiatives to promote adoption of new ERP processes and technologies.
  8. Ensure ERP solutions remain future-ready, scalable, and adaptable to evolving business needs.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in ERP management, consolidation, implementation, and optimization, including 7+ years in a global leadership role.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale ERP programs and consolidation efforts in complex, multi-national organizations.
  • Deep expertise in Tier 1 ERP platforms such as JDE & Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional global teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;

  • Travel estimated at 30%, across Europe and within North America (Incumbent should be ready to travel).
