Your scorecard is product update cadence, happy customers, clean P&L, and smart systems. What you’ll own (pick 6 pillars; the first 4 are mandatory for MD‑track) Finance (mandatory): forecast, budget, variance; prioritize projects by ROI; vendor management. Product/Service (mandatory): roadmap and release cadence; dated changelog/release notes; compliance updates on SLA. People/Leadership (mandatory): hiring loop and scorecards; standups/WBR cadence; performance management. Marketing: funnel diagnostics and shipped fixes that lift CVRs. Sales: pipeline hygiene; offer framing; cycle time and close rate improvements. IT/Automations: n8n/no‑code flows (onboarding nudges, support triage, change monitors) with logging/SLAs. Monthly release train shipped with public notes Escalations/100 customers down 25% vs baseline Two monthly UX/tests shipped and measured Budget on track; forecast accuracy within ±5% Team cadence running without founder inputs Must‑haves P.Eng. 5+ years leading cross‑functional ops (edtech, services, or similar) Owned a P&L and improved EBITDA through prioritization Built automations/workflows (n8n/Zapier/Make or similar) 1+ year of sales or business development Can show raw artifacts: dashboards, budgets, changelogs, SOPs LMS experience; B2B employer partnerships Comp Base C$120–140k + performance bonus tied to the quarterly scorecard; benefits; remote within Canada.
