OverviewThe Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational efficiency across all ECCO supply branches, warehouses, and distribution centers. This role focuses on optimizing operations enterprise-wide to enhance customer service, streamline processes, and support the overall sales and distribution strategy. The Operations Manager will work closely with branch and distribution center leaders to ensure alignment with company goals, delivering high performance in inventory management, order fulfillment, and team leadership. The role emphasizes fostering a culture of continuous improvement and applying lean practices to achieve operational excellence across all locations.Division The ECCO GroupReporting structure Reports to: Vice President of OperationsDirect Reports: N/AResponsibilitiesGeneral Duties: Customer Focus & Brand Advocacy: Deliver exceptional customer experiences consistently, enhancing the company’s One ECCO brand reputation in the marketWorkplace Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with colleagues and all ECCO employeesPolicy Adherence: Uphold ECCO’s Human Resources, Health & Safety policies and proceduresSafety Champion: Actively contribute to ECCO’s safety program by making suggestions, setting a positive example, and prioritizing safety at workOperations Management: Drive operational efficiency across ECCO’s supply branches, warehouses, and distribution centers by overseeing daily workflows in inventory management, product handling, and customer service.Collaborate with location leaders to optimize operations enterprise-wide, ensuring alignment with company goals and supporting the overall sales and distribution strategy.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all locations, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements to enhance service levels and operational performance.Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement enterprise-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in order fulfillment, inventory control, and customer interactions across all locations.Lead initiatives focused on lean process optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement to support the sales and distribution strategy.Identify and scale best practices that enhance operational productivity and customer satisfaction across branches and distribution centers.Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management across all branches and distribution centers by collaborating with supply chain and logistics teams.Align inventory planning and procurement with enterprise-wide sales forecasts and customer demand to support operational efficiency.Coordinate timely restocking and inter-location transfers to maintain optimal product availability and service levels.Team Leadership & Development: Foster a high-performance culture across branch and distribution teams, emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.Partner with EPMO and HR to deliver training programs that build capabilities in lean practices, inventory management, and customer service.Provide strategic performance feedback and lead change initiatives that align team efforts with company goals and operational priorities.Customer Service & Support: Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service across all locations by aligning operational practices with customer expectations.Collaborate with sales and operations teams to translate customer insights into process improvements and service enhancements.Resolve operational challenges impacting customer satisfaction and implement sustainable solutions that support long-term success.Safety & Compliance: Work with EHS representatives to help ensure branch operations and distribution centers comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Work with EHS representatives to conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments in branches and warehouses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented when necessary.Promote a safety-first culture within all branch and distribution operations teams.Other duties as deemed necessary by Management.Other Requirements: The role requires frequent travel to various branch and distribution locations to gain a deeper understanding of operations, maintain strong connections with teams, and ensure alignment with company standards.Due to the dynamic nature of this Company, the duties and responsibilities may reasonably change from time to time.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within retail, wholesale distribution, or HVAC.Familiarity with lean principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) and experience leading continuous improvement initiatives is preferred. Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is an asset.Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-site branch operations.Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, and customer service operations.Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.Experience with ERP systems and operational management software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
