This is an entry level architectural design role. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to take on a range of tasks from helping on construction drawings to developing presentation material. We work in the education, transit, healthcare and civic sectors—you’re interested in a variety of work. Your Key Responsibilities Conduct basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, building program and other similar material. Support project team in development of design and construction documentation. Assist in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, digital models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats. Assist in research of concepts, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents. Your Capabilities and Credentials Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft, rendering software. Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively. Participation and collaboration in project team setting. Engagement in creative and critical thought. Interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material. Communication of abstract ideas (verbal/written). Education and Experience Enrolled in an Architecture program at a university or college. Please include your portfolio with your application. Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
