Overview

Our world class Accounting & Finance team at Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division is hiring a Manager Finance - Consolidation and Intercompany. Reporting to our Senior Director of Finance (Controlling), the Manager Finance - Consolidation and Intercompany will lead the consolidation accounting process across the division and manage all intercompany transactions and processes to ensure the consolidated financial statements are auditable and accurately represented. This role will demand deep knowledge of ERP and Enterprise Financial Management software, ensuring efficient financial systems operation and accurate, timely financial reporting. With a focus on delivering exceptional results, this leader's positivity, confidence, articulate communication, strong relationship building, and solid business acumen will support and complement our global team.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position can be based anywhere, however the preference is in Tucson or Calgary.

Responsibilities

As the Manager Finance - Consolidation and Intercompanyyou will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process; ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Developing, implement, and maintain all intercompany transaction processes and procedures; investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Liaising with subsidiaries and business units to confirm intercompany balances; make adjustments as necessary.
  • Implementing and managing a robust process to review intercompany transactions for compliance with transfer pricing rules and documentation requirements.
  • Ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient data transfer from SAP to OneStream for consolidated financial reporting.
  • Providing training and support to finance staff on SAP and OneStream usage.
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure required support is provided for review processes and audits.
  • Streamlining and improving financial systems and processes using SAP and OneStream.
  • Facilitating the adoption of new accounting policies and ensure compliance with IFRS.
  • Participating in and managing special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or similar professional accounting certification.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a financial consolidation role within a Public Multinational Company.
  • Practical experience with ERP and Enterprise Financial Management software
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and intercompany transactions.

  • Prior experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and levels of management.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining a high level of performance under pressure.
  • Operational improvement and change management experience is desirable.
  • Practical experience with SAP and OneStream software.
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing regulations.
