We have over 200 offices across Canada and offer flexible work arrangements.We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join BrokerLink and work out of our Barrie, ON office on a Permanent FT basis.Perks of working with us:Flexible health and dental insurance benefits packagePersonal spending amount to invest in your healthy lifestyleRRSP - Registered Retirement Savings Plan with company matchingESPP - Employee Share Purchase Plan (TSX:IFC) program with matching“Dress for your day”, dress according to your daily scheduleCompetitive compensation package with bonusEmployee discount program, including Apple, Bell, Rogers and morePaid Time Off: Personal days, Volunteer days, Exam/Study Time, Jury Duty and starting at 3 weeks of vacation per yearRecognition as a top employer in Canada (Kincentric 2024)What the Role EntailsPrepare documents to assist the Account Executive in quoting and binding new business, including preparation of applications and submissions, completing questionnaires and pulling reportsSource and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applications accordinglyProvide customers with prompt service by offering advice, helping customers understand insurance, and addressing concernsAssist with quotes to customers, preparing coverage comparisons and/or summaries of insurance; update customer file informationProcess new business, endorsements, renewals and cancellationsFollow up on payments and assist the Account Executive in managing Accounts ReceivableReceive and process all incoming Commercial paperworkPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificatesCommunicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on renewal terms and endorsementsPrepare new loss notices and follow up with Adjusters on claims statusThe Successful Candidate Will HaveEquivalent skills considered; please applyHigh School and/or Post-Secondary Education3 years of commercial insurance experience including property/casualty and automobile preferredRIBO LicensedMS Office programs (Word, Excel, Teams) preferredStrong customer focusDemonstrated ability to handle multiple prioritiesStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExposure to Epic is an assetPrevious sales experience is an assetAbility to pass a criminal and credit checkWe thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.BrokerLink is committed to providing an accessible environment.
