Senior Leadership Technical Program Manager, Chrome

We are currently looking for a highly skilled candidate to fill this role.
Minimum Qualifications:- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management.
- 7 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
- 5 years of people management experience including growing leads and managers.
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- 7 years of experience in supervisory roles.
- Experience with enterprise scale software development.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and change and to create conditions for Technical Program Managers to succeed working within a dynamic environment.
Sometimes our users' projects span the globe requiring managers to keep a broad perspective while being able to dive into specific challenges. As a Technical Program Manager you lead complex multi-disciplinary developer projects using your developer expertise planning requirements with internal customers and ushering projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as discussing technical trade-offs in product development with developers.
You will use your extensive technical and leadership expertise to manage various Developer-specific programs and teams.
Responsibilities- Be a thought leader within Google and industry on subject matter domains.
- Establish a reliable visible cadence for portfolio reviews decision making prioritization and resource management whereby improvements are measurable and the impact can be felt organization-wide.
- Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators.
- Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.
- Lead strategic planning framework for complex program portfolios including direct influence over resourcing decisions planning cadence and planning stakeholders.
