OverviewBilingual Commercial Account Manager, Portfolio Management, Business Enterprise Solutions (BES)As part of a growing and dynamic Commercial Portfolio Management team, the Account Manager is responsible for underwriting renewals, assumptions, and annual reviews relating to all commercial mortgage product types. The Account Manager must adhere to established policies and underwriting standards, meeting compliance and control requirements, while providing solutions to clients in a timely manner in order to achieve service goals, as well as annual retention targets. Additional credit related and administrative duties are required, such as reporting, pipeline management, as well as managing relationships with external business partners and various staff within the Commercial Department & other internal departments.The incumbent will be working hybrid and in-office time will be spent working from Equitable Bank’s additional office space located at 2200-25 Ontario Street, Toronto, ON. Responsibilities On a daily basis, manage renewals, assumptions, annual reviews, and ad-hoc requests to meet prescribed deadlines. Ensure compliance with the Bank’s lending guidelines, risk appetite, and procedures, with recommendations submitted to the appropriate level of authority for approval. Ensure all lending criteria, including maintaining acceptable ROE thresholds, are satisfied and outstanding documentation or conditions are met in a timely manner. On a daily basis, ensure superior customer service is delivered. On a daily basis, communicate with external contacts (partners, brokers, counsel, etc.) and internal contacts (management, funders, coordinators, etc.) to ensure all transactions and ad-hoc requests meet prescribed deadlines while delivering superior customer service. On a daily basis, contribute to special projects as assigned from time to time.
