Functional Testing Quality Assurance Analyst - Expert Pay rate range – $60/hr. to $65/hr. on W2 Hybrid – twice a week in office, subject to change Working hours: 9-5 EST Role Mandate Managing and tracking currency maintenance, requirement documentation, project delivery, risk/problem identification and remediation, security compliance, business as usual (BAU) support, process optimization and roadmap alignment for Branch QA finances. Team Structure The team works in groups primarily, but some work will be completed independently. Role Responsibilities Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues. Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor and track performance, and address any issues. Break down strategic problems, analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Lead and implement core initiatives with complete test strategies. Develop test automation suites, design frameworks, and define standards. Oversee several test projects simultaneously and provide scheduling support to operations. Ensure that systems and software are functionally appropriate, technically sound and well integrated. Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability. Design, develop, execute, and maintain testing strategies and plans to ensure stability and efficiency, enabling a seamless customer experience. Execute and verify test cases as part of the overall functional testing of Information Technology products, and report defects and test results to stakeholders. Recommend approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes and systems in the organization to improve overall efficiency and serve the bank. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of test results through documentation processes; follow CLIENT's SDLC process. Communicate the overall quality of a deliverable and use metrics to drive delivery and identify any areas of concern. Participate in programs/projects across the enterprise. Act as an active stakeholder in every initiative, driving quality based on fact‑based metrics. Ensure development teams' unit testing practices are in place and confirm core criteria met prior to integrated testing delivery. Proactively provide improvement opportunities to the team to enhance the customer experience. Drive the testing automation capabilities. Identify opportunities to strengthen the quality assurance capability, such as sharing expertise, mentoring employees, and building communities of practice. Stay abreast of industry technical and business trends through participation in professional associations, practice communities, and individual learning. Focus is primarily on business/group within CLIENT; may have broader, enterprise‑wide focus. Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules. Work independently on a range of complex tasks, including unique situations. Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Must Have Skills Past working experience in managing finances in clarity/PPM. Primary metric – Customer Connect application knowledge and working experience. 10+ years of work experience in IT or business environment and/or B.S./B.A. in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business. Another degree also acceptable. Knowledge of the SDLC, testing concepts, methodologies, metrics, and automated testing frameworks. Problem‑solving skills, including ability to troubleshoot and identify problem areas throughout testing. Ability to analyze data and use testing metrics to highlight improvement opportunities. In‑depth verbal & written communication skills. Ability to communicate and manage with multiple PMs and finance teams on test estimations, finances, portfolio management, clarity related aspects, financial reconciliations.
