In this role, you’ll architect FPGA systems, develop and verify custom IP, and bring designs to life through integration and hands-on hardware testing. You’ll work closely with customer requirements, contribute to innovative design processes, and help shape the future of FPGA technology.Location: Ottawa, ONJob Type: OnsiteWhat You’ll Do:Architectural design of the FPGA systems that interface to external interfaces and processorsDevelopment and verification of custom IP-blocks and FPGA subsystemsDevelopment and execution of verification test plansIntegration of the Custom IP-blocks in previously developed systemsHands on hardware testing and debug on custom designed hardwareDevelopment of requirements per customer specificationWriting design documentation and test reportsWhat You’ll Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalentMinimum 7+ years of experience in FPGA and digital design and developmentMust have knowledge and experience using electronic test equipmentWorking experience with safety or performance critical products; aerospace, robotics or medical product design experience is an assetExperience with document writing: Requirements, Design Description, VerificationExcellent attention to detail, communication and presentation skillsExperience in VHDL coding and testExperience/familiarity in the following is an asset:Fluent knowledge of Xilinx Vivado Design SuiteExperience of Libero SoC Design SuiteExperience with ModelSimWho We Are:Aversan is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company established in 2003.
