We are looking for a Licensed 310J Trailer Technician for our Timmins dealership located at 2439 Riverside Drive, Timmins ON P4R 1M9. This is a full-time permanent position working day and afternoon shifts from 7:00am to 8:00pm.

A Trailer Technician is responsible for providing service to our customers by assisting in changing (removing or replacing) major components. Ability to diagnose and  repair various trailers. This position reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Ability to Repair trucks and trailers.
  • Read job orders and reports and use computer systems to enter work orders
  • Perform general and detailed repair of automotive engines and components
  • Document work performed and complete inspection sheets if necessary
  • Ability to road test vehicles
  • Ability to provide safety on all equipment
  • Attend training classes and keep abreast of industry standards
  • Follow Company Health and Safety rules and policies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties that are deemed necessary

Requirements:

  • Licensed Trailer Technician 310J
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Good communication skills and work attitude
  • Quality Driven
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Driver's Abstract
  • AZ/DZ License is an asset
