T Bell Transport Inc. is looking to hire a Red SealHeavy Duty Mechanics to join our team. The role of the Mechanic is to ensureeffective operation of various on / off highway equipment by maintaining,troubleshooting, and repairing components where required and to carry out allduties in a safe and efficient manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and repair a mixed fleet ofequipment.
  • Maximize equipment availability throughefficient and proactive preventative maintenance programs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance such asinspections, lubricating, oil changes and failure analysis.
  • Diagnose faults and malfunctions and carryoutnecessary repairs including major component replacement and repair orrebuild.
  • Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmentaland other policies, procedures and requirements.
  • Test repaired equipment for properperformance.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic / 310TRed Seal
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience(preferred)
  • Microsoft Office program operation andapplication skills
  • Experience with Chip Trailers, Float Trailers,and various brands of Tractor’s
  • Kenworth / Western Star / Mack / Volvo / Internationalexperience an asset

  • Ability to work safely and effectively in ateam environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent safety record
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
