Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Facility Address: Maeford Place, Quesnel, BC

Position Details:

Evening/Night shifts Compensation: $32.84 per hour

Candidates who have completed their studies in the past two years may qualify for our tuition reimbursement program - feel free to inquire for more information.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments. Develop and deliver personal and nursing care to residents. Administer medications following pharmaceutical and organizational guidelines. Supervise care staff directly to ensure residents' needs are met. Perform other assigned duties. Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. Current CPR and First Aid certifications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Background in Dementia care is a plus. Preferably, cultural education and experience. The chosen candidate must demonstrate proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination and any mandatory booster shots as part of this job requirement. If an exemption applies based on legislatively protected human rights, alternative arrangements will be considered while prioritizing the health and safety of all. Job Type: Casual

Salary: $32.84 per hour

Language Requirement: Proficiency in French is not mandatory

Schedule:

8-hour shifts Evening and Night shifts Monday to Friday availability Weekend shifts as necessary Education: Preferred Bachelor's Degree

Licence/Certification:

BCCN&M Number (mandatory) First Aid Certification (preferred) CPR Certification (preferred) Work Location: On-site
