Role Description

Due to gravity9's rapid growth, we are currently seeking to make our inaugural strategic hire in North America
We are in search of an individual capable of spearheading interactions with our clients. This position entails serving as the primary contact with the accountability for delivery, fostering client relationships, and supervising the team responsible for the tasks. The responsibilities also include technical leadership, getting your hands dirty with code, and effective stakeholder management through close collaboration with clients. Throughout the engagement, the role requires working closely with the client's internal staff and product teams, serving as their strategic delivery partner and trusted advisor.

We believe small, multi-disciplinary teams are most effective in delivering complex change of this nature. As such, this is a crucial role and will require flexibility and the ability to take on different responsibilities over the lifetime of the engagement.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Being accountable for the design and delivery of the solutions
  • Interaction with external stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and business goals are understood
  • Supporting the sales team with pre-sales activities mainly related to pre-sales architecture for potential clients
  • Overseeing and mentoring development teams
  • Some of the projects might require hands-on coding in C#/.NET

Role requirements - technical skills and experience

This position is well-suited for a seasoned Solution Architect with a background in leading client-facing engagements.

Must-have requirements:

  • Extensive experience in designing and building custom medium/large and/or enterprise applications for external clients
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in workload prioritization and management
  • Expert in C#/.NET
  • Experience in cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)
  • Experience in microservices architecture
  • Experience in NoSQL
  • Development methodologies: Experienced with agile working and test-driven development
  • Domain-Driven Design: Experience in defining bounded contexts and subdomains, and use of aggregate roots and domain events

Nice-to-have requirements:

  • Expert in MongoDB
  • Experience in modern frontend technologies
