Rotation length is flexible at 2-, 3- or 4-week rotations. What We OfferRetention Allowance: Up to $16,500 (minimum hours required)Casual PremiumEducation Allowance: Up to $3,850Nurse in Charge (NIC) Allowance: Up to $6,000 per year for Community Health Nurses (Level 4)Remote Certified Practice Allowance: Up to $6,000 per year ($23.00/day)Weather-Protective Clothing Allowance: Reimbursement up to $1,200The pay range listed is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full-time equivalent hours. About The RoleAs a Community Health Nurse, you will work in an expanded scope of practice to provide primary care, public health, health promotion, and emergency care for First Nations individuals, families, and communities, including after-hours on-call care. FNHA has nursing stations located throughout the province, serving both coastal and northern communities. Nursing stations are staffed by 2 to 4 nurses working in full-time, part-time, or casual positions. Nurses in nursing stations fly in and out of remote communities on a flexible 2-week, 3-week or 4-week rotation.
