Universal Banker – Markham, Ontario – Cantonese/Mandarin Join CIBC, a relationship‑oriented bank, and become a Universal Banker in our fast‑paced Banking Centre. You will proactively engage with clients and leverage CIBC’s mobile and online banking options to recommend suitable products and solutions. What You’ll Be Doing As a member of the Personal and Business Banking team: Engage with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advising on solutions and providing forward‑looking financial plans. Use your knowledge of technology, cash management, credit, investment and wealth protection to help clients meet their goals. Utilize mobile banking applications to introduce clients to technology and help them manage their banking needs. Work full‑time on‑site within the Bank Centre, including evenings, weekends and travel to multiple centres as required. How You Will Succeed Client engagement—meeting clients, advising solutions, and delivering a forward‑looking financial plan. Relationship building—engage in marketing and outreach activities, grow your network, deepen existing relationships and work as a team. Leveraging technology—share knowledge and introduce clients to mobile banking applications. Who You Are You put clients first and engage with purpose. You are goal‑oriented, motivated to achieve results and deliver your best. You notice details and use critical thinking to inform decisions. You are passionate about people, respect and authenticity. You love learning, are curious and eager to grow your knowledge. You have at least 1 year of client‑facing experience and demonstrated sales results (previous banking experience is an asset). You hold a current Mutual Funds Licence (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada). Certification is required.
