Part‑Time Registered Nurse (0.8 EFT, Temporary) Posting End Date: November 28, 2025 Location: Centre de santé Saint‑Boniface, 170 Rue Goulet, Winnipeg, Manitoba Salary: $43.32 – $57.09 per hour FTE: 0.8 Rotation: December 2025 – March 2027 Responsibilities Provide professional, integrated primary care services focused on health promotion and disease prevention. Assess, manage, and consult with the interdisciplinary team on client files in collaboration with clients or caregivers. Document clinical care for clients promptly. Support the implementation of care plans with the team to address complex health needs. Consult with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other team members regarding client‑related situations. Screen and respond to information requests (phone, in‑person, email), determine urgency, and follow‑up. Maintain connections with community groups and health‑service organizations by attending meetings and events. Deliver customer service in compliance with the Registered Nurses Act and the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba statutes. Use evidence‑based practice with people and communities. Participate in and contribute to group education sessions or workshops related to the service. Show diligence, confidentiality, and loyalty in dealings with the employer. Ensure effective communication within the service and among departments. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, standards, and legal, regulatory, professional, and accreditation obligations. Keep current on safe handling and transport of hazardous products in line with WHMIS, the Infection Control Manual, and the Emergency Preparedness Manual. Perform other duties related to the job description that do not exceed the described skills and abilities. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing recognized by the Province of Manitoba. Certificate of Practice issued by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. 3–5 years of experience in a community setting, public health, or health education and promotion. Extensive knowledge of health promotion, developmental concepts, and community resources. Ability to meet the needs of a vulnerable population. Physical ability to lift moderate weights, sit for long periods, and walk during the day. Physical ability to perform job duties in varied weather or environmental conditions. Proficiency in both official Canadian languages (oral and written). Critical, innovative, and proactive thinking to meet client and coworker needs. Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and interpersonal skills. Strong internal and external working relationships. Effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook and Word); knowledge of Excel, Teams, and SharePoint is an asset. Valid Basic Life Support certificate.
