Regulatory and Compliance Consultant - BA

Two roles (Sr and Intermediate) for Regulatory compliance, monitoring and testing, controls, governance project with one of the major Canadian banks. Looking for BA-kind of profiles.

Location: Toronto downtown (2-3 days per week onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Provides expertise in the design, development, management and implementation of assigned projects from business case development through to execution.
  • Ensures integration of initiatives into ongoing programs.
  • Works across the bank to deliver specific project/program results in alignment with overall group goals.
  • Requirements gathering, working across multiple teams and interacting with different stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in compliance, monitoring and testing, controls, governance (regulatory is good to have).
  • In-depth expertise in Finance / business domain (Subject matter expert level for a Sr role).
  • Change management and Process Re-Engineering: able to lead change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder.
  • Experience developing communications strategies, implementation of complex strategic initiatives (usually involve multiple stakeholders across the enterprise).
  • Expertise in communication, collaboration, data-driven decision making, and problem-solving.
