Director, Human Resources, Canada role at Ipsen. The Director, Human Resources is a strategic partner to the General Manager of the Canadian Affiliate and the Ipsen Canada Leadership Team members, responsible for full‑cycle HR activities, driving strategic and operational HR excellence, and enhancing company culture. Responsibilities Develop and execute HR strategies with the General Manager and ICLT to achieve high employee engagement and performance‑driven culture. Lead HR processes for Canada: performance management, talent management, succession planning, development planning, annual merit and benefits. Provide guidance and coaching to Canadian leaders on HR policies, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, compensation, and development. Oversee day‑to‑day HR operational activities: onboarding/offboarding, employee queries, engagement activities, policy training, wellness initiatives. Partner with NA Employee Relations to oversee investigations and resolve employee complaints. Execute key HR Canada initiatives and projects aligned with organizational strategic imperatives. Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives in partnership with NA strategy. Collaborate with NA Compensation and Benefits to administer employee benefits and compensation programs. Partner with NA Talent Acquisition to recruit and attract top talent and define staffing plans. Maintain knowledge of HR regulations, laws, and industry trends. Create and implement Canadian HR policies and processes to meet legislative requirements and improve HR efficiency. Uphold the Ipsen Way of Being and educate employees accordingly. Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors and contractors. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred); CHRP/CHRL designation preferred. At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 7 years in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare. Prior experience in an HR Business Partner role. Strong relationship‑building and credibility with colleagues. Excellent decision‑making, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication across all levels; public speaking skills. Strategic leadership and dispute resolution abilities. Thorough knowledge of Canadian HR environment and employment laws. Passion for patient impact and results orientation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
