Marie, ON, the Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and will have a wide range of duties. You will be part of a team that provides solutions over a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage and Hydrology, Land Development, and Utility Scale Renewable Energy Facilities.

What You’ll Do:

The Project Engineer will be part of the Engineering team. You will:

  1. Perform pre-engineering inspections and surveys.
  2. Complete, check, and review technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, and engineering calculations.
  3. Prepare plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applications.
  4. Stormwater management, drainage and hydrology, wastewater conveyance, potable water distribution, earthworks, transportation, cost estimating, and other supporting areas.
  5. Prepare Site Plans including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans.
  6. Work with on-site sewage disposal systems and private water supplies.
  7. Undertake preliminary and final linear infrastructure, road, and street design.
  8. Subdivision development – draft plans of subdivision, site servicing, grading, drainage, and subdivision agreements.
  9. Perform construction inspections.
  10. Assist with project management and construction administration.
  11. Liaise with clients, build client relations, and advance business development.
Who You Are:

You have a P.Eng. licence or are a Civil Engineering Intern working towards one. You have 0-10 years of experience in the civil consulting industry. You exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives. You can pivot and alter approach to accomplish desired results. You are trusted and provided freedom to work independently but also contribute to the overall team success.

What You Should Bring:

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Civil Engineering or a related program. Additionally, you should have:

  1. High motivation with results-oriented focus.
  2. Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  3. Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  5. Unwavering commitment to health & safety in the workplace.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  7. Valid Class G driver’s licence.
