Overview1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsWhat You BringAt Wireline Access Technology & Engineering team, we are looking for a network engineer to support new technology introduction and current generation CMTS platform engineering. You will be the subject matter expert on DOCSIS CMTS platform to integrate new platforms such as Virtual CMTS, Distributed Access Architecture, DOCSIS3.1 Enhanced etc., and to own and drive lab validation, Pre-Production testing and Production trial of these new technologies into the client\'s network. You will also maintain and stabilize the current generation CMTS platform, ensure our wireline residential and business customers have the best network experience.What You'll DoExecute Lab, Pre-Production and Production testing and trial of bug fixes, new software releases and new CMTS featuresEnd-to-end integration of new CMTS platform and technology into client\'s network eco-systemOwn and drive network projects to work with internal teams and external vendors to provide the best customer experience to client\'s customersBe the subject matter expert on anything DOCSIS CMTS technology related to internal teams to support their network initiativesMentor and train junior engineersQualifications5-10 years of working experience in DOCSIS, DAA, CIN and Cable Modem supporting systemWorking experience with IP routing and switchingWorking experience in new technology integration and introductionCompetency in network design, lab testing and field trial executionMust be locally (GTA) based and physically commute to lab (Brampton) when required to execute test cases. #J-18808-Ljbffr
