Procurement Specialist - Contract - 18566 About The Opportunity Our Government client is seeking a Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist will support procurement activities. This is a dynamic opportunity for a professional with strong facilitation and solicitation design experience to contribute to cross-functional teams. The procurement officer will be acquiring goods and services. Duties Communicate with relevant stakeholders on contract requests through meetings, chats, and emails Hold regular meetings with the designated project authority or representative to provide status updates on assigned contract requests Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all procurement files in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and organizational procedures Collaborate with business owners or internal clients to develop procurement documentation, including but not limited to statements of work, evaluation criteria, contract terms, solicitation documents, and security requirements Provide advice and guidance on procurement strategies to business owners and stakeholders Present procurement files for review and approval by the appropriate authority or review committee, as required Recommend updates or improvements to existing procurement policies, processes, and templates Develop new tools or forms to enhance internal procurement processes, subject to prior approval from the relevant authority or management team About You 10+ years of experience in procurement Experience with the federal public service Bilingual in French and English Reliability cleared About the Job Until March 31, 2026 with possible extension.
