SUMMARY:
The Industrial Sales Manager (ISM), High-Pressure Equipment, will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the sale and rentals of our high-pressure equipment throughout their territory. The Industrial Sales Manager, High-Pressure Equipment will serve as an ambassador for the high-pressure equipment product line and will also be responsible for providing technical support and product knowledge to customers and internal team members. This position reports to the Director of Sales, Industrial.
ABOUT YOU:
- High degree of technical knowledge related to water-blasting equipment and related accessories and applications (parts and pumps)
- Mechanical aptitude and must have some knowledge of heavy equipment
- Advanced experience using internet research tools
- Strong ability using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Advanced verbal and written communication, with exceptional customer service/sales skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Great relationship builder
- Ability to plan and execute work independently
- Ability to use discretion while working, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy
- Ability to travel and work within a flexible schedule
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Certification:
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Sales, Business, Marketing, a related program, OR equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and possess or have the ability to obtain a CDL license
- Must have or be willing to obtain a passport
Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in an Outside Sales/Sales Manager role, preferably in Industrial Equipment Sales
- Experience with the full sales cycle (prospecting, demos, quoting, deliveries)
- Experience with high-pressured water-blasting equipment and related accessories and applications (parts and pumps)
- Exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck work environment is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of safety requirements working with heavy equipment specializing in high pressure water blasting
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Experience persevering through long sales cycles
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all sales activities within assigned territory, with a focus on increasing sales year over year in alignment with established targets
- Collaborate and work effectively with Industrial team and customer support
- Service existing accounts and ensure effective and continuous customer communication/interaction
- Prospect, build and maintain new customer relationships
- Provide demonstrations and safety training as required to effectively represent the industrial product lines represented within the territory
- Attend industry events, training or tradeshows to ensure up-to-date knowledge on JJE products and to represent JJE in the industry
- Prepare forecasts and reports related to assigned territory
- Promote promotional products and campaigns
- Support the rental process of high pressure equipment and parts
- Support the Industrial Rentals process
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
