Senior IT Architect – Security & Networking Join Intact as a Senior IT Architect specialized in Security & Networking infrastructure technologies. About The Role You will be part of the Infrastructure Technology Architecture team responsible for the following technological domains: Network Security Network Infrastructure Logging & Observability Identity & Access Management (IAM) & Privileged Access Management (PAM) What You’ll Do Lead and develop architecture for systems and technology projects in collaboration with the team. Design and maintain architectural detailed design, models, standards, and strategic orientations. Develop and maintain architectural technical patterns throughout the governance cycle. Support the implementation of standards and orientations for project execution. Participate in research, evaluation, and selection of products or technologies based on strategic domain evolution. Conduct infrastructure and application security assessments. Perform penetration testing, digital forensics, and reverse engineering. Mentor and guide Security and Network Operations in resolving high‑risk challenges. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects to ensure technology infrastructure aligns with new solutions. Develop and manage technology evolution roadmaps and strategies for your domain. Monitor current‑state technical landscape, identify deficiencies, and recommend solutions. Present architecture solutions for peer review to the broader Technology Architecture group. Collaborate with project teams and SMEs across IT operational areas as needed. Qualifications University degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience. 5 to 8 years experience as a Security or Networking Architect in any domain. Extensive experience in networking architecture, including large‑scale national or international network infrastructures. Proficient in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, ideally as an architect. Strong knowledge of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust security principles. Fast learner, able to grasp new technologies quickly. Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with business leaders and executives. Team player and technical mentor, proactive and adaptable. For Quebec candidates: bilingual in English and French. No Canadian work experience required; must be eligible to work in Canada. Certifications considered a plus: CISSP, PCNSE, CCNA, CCSP, CISA, SC-100, Cisco CyberOps Associate, TOGAF. What We Offer Financial rewards program that recognizes your success.
