Account Manager, Work Transformation and Collaboration Join Pythian as an Account Manager focused on Work Transformation and Collaboration. If you seek a long‑term career with a company you can stand behind, Pythian may be the right fit for you. What You Will Be Doing Plan target account expansion strategies and tactics. Identify opportunities to cross‑sell across multiple offerings within Pythian’s portfolio. Lead introductory meetings with key contacts by positioning Pythian’s value proposition and aligning with clients’ short‑term and long‑term objectives. Develop and foster 1:1 relationships with Google Workspace teams and ISV partners. Secure contract renewals and expand services under existing contracts. Lead account planning, growth strategy, and client business reviews; ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Build positive and productive internal and external relationships. Develop executive relationships within the client organization. Maintain thorough records of customer interactions and provide weekly sales projections. Document and share success stories and update Salesforce CRM; monitor lost sales opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. Travel as required for in‑person meetings, conferences, trade shows, and annual sales kickoff events. What We Need From You Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered. 5+ years of experience selling professional or managed IT services in cloud, application, analytics, data management, and infrastructure. Previous sales experience in the IT or professional services sector, with a track record of building and managing client relationships and growing revenue. Experience selling cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) and a deep understanding of public cloud platforms. Strong understanding of data in analytics and application spaces, both cloud and on‑prem. Proven ability to retain customers and help them expand product footprints. Experience communicating product changes and updates effectively. Skill in influencing through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building. Background in both post‑sale and sales activities. Deep understanding of recurring revenue business models. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Enthusiastic and creative leadership with the ability to inspire others.
