Civil Foreman

Industra Construction Corp is looking for a

Civil Foreman

with experience working in heavy civil construction with the ability to manually complete any activity when necessary.

Responsibilities: Supervise a crew or crews of specific trade disciplines. Interface with the client and other contractors on site. Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment, and work environment. Ensure that work is completed during regular hours Ensures overall compliance of Industra’s health, safety, and environmental standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations daily. Demonstrates ability to lead teams effectively in the day-to-day execution of the work by managing resources, equipment, and labour. Completes daily paperwork and conduct daily toolbox talks. Coordinates and communicates with the other Foreman and Supervision to ensure the correct sequencing of operations. Effective organizational and planning skills; proven experience organizing workloads, managing multiple priorities, and working with multiple deadlines.

Qualifications: Education: Red Seal Journeyman Trade certificate preferred Minimum of 3 year in a supervisory role Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, project teams and subtrades A background in operating heavy equipment; with experience and knowledge in construction and heavy earthworks Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $45/HR

Schedule: 2 weeks in and 1 week out, 10 hours per day for 14 days

Ability to commute/relocate: Ontario: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience: Construction: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Ontario G2 Licence (required)
