You will define and prioritize product requirements, driving the development of technical features and solutions that support the company’s vision and business goals. You’ll combine knowledge of technical constraints, user expectations, and market demands to make high-impact product decisions.What you’ll doAct as the key communicator and scrum facilitator for assigned products and teams, aligning stakeholders and driving deliveryTranslate product vision & goals into actionable, testable user stories with acceptance criteria that include API/data flows, dependencies, and non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, and securityOwn the backlog with Product Management, prioritize by customer value, technical dependencies, and strategy, and balance features, platform work, and tech debt from ideation to releaseLead agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, reviews/retros) and remove impediments to maintain healthy team velocityCollaborate with engineering to scope and estimate work, define API contracts/integration points, align on Definition of Done, and partner with QA/DevOps on release readiness and observabilityUse data and experimentation (analytics/BI, basic SQL, A/B or phased rollouts) to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes (adoption, latency, error rates), and demonstrate value to the business and customersResearch market/competitors/users to inform the roadmap, contribute to the technical product roadmap, and plan launches and iterations on time and on budgetFacilitate UAT for technical features and ensure delivered solutions meet defined requirements and quality standardsServe as an SME on HostPapa’s customers, services, and marketplace, communicate updates and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences, and support product marketing as neededBuild strong relationships with engineering, design, marketing, support, and sales, and coordinate cross-team dependencies (e.g., story mapping) in microservices/cloud environmentsSupport other tasks or projects as assigned to meet team and business needsAbout youExperienced Product Owner (SaaS) with a strong grasp of SDLC and Agile/Scrum (CSPO/PSPO a plus)Technically fluent: comfortable with APIs, data models, and system behavior, can read API specs and discuss logs/metrics, and familiar with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD basicsAble to translate complex technical concepts into clear language and write concise PRDs and acceptance criteria that include NFRsData-aware: uses analytics/BI (and basic SQL) to set KPIs, validate outcomes, and drive decisions, and is practiced in JTBD discovery and facilitating UATProven collaborator with UX, engineering, and product marketing, effective with remote teams, and has Jira experienceWeb hosting/WordPress experience is a strong plusExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsWhat we offerWork from anywhere - this is a remote opportunityA competitive salary that values you and your unique skill setsCareer advancement & professional development opportunities to help you reach your full potentialFlexible work arrangements to support work/life balanceAbout usAt HostPapa, we’ve been committed to providing a complete array of enterprise-grade cloud services solutions to every business owner since 2006.
