Position Overview:

The AI/ML Senior Developer/Team Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating AI/ML solutions, leveraging Python and SQL, for US Healthcare Customers. The role requires an individual who can lead a team while ensuring the successful implementation of AI/ML models and solutions, with a strong understanding of healthcare industry requirements, specifically in Revenue Cycle Management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI/ML Model Development: Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models to address business needs in the healthcare domain.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with AI product managers and business stakeholders to help them understand the capabilities and limitations of AI when planning new products.
  • Revenue Cycle Management: Utilize understanding of Revenue Cycle Management processes such as claims filing and adjudication to inform AI model development.
  • Data Platform Development: Develop platforms for data ingestion and transformation, ensuring seamless integration of various datasets.
  • AI Model Design: Build AI models from scratch, identifying opportunities for transfer learning and creating new training datasets.
  • Model Evaluation: Analyze various ML algorithms, ranking them by their success probability, and assess their effectiveness for solving specific problems.
  • Data Visualization: Explore and visualize data to understand distribution variations that could affect model performance in real-world deployment.
  • Data Quality Management: Oversee data quality verification, ensuring it through data cleaning processes.
  • Model Validation: Define validation strategies and preprocessing or feature engineering methods for given datasets.
  • Model Training & Tuning: Train models, tune hyperparameters, and analyze errors to design strategies for model improvement.
  • Model Deployment: Deploy models to production, integrating them into operational systems via API creation and ensuring smooth operationalization.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on programming experience working on enterprise-level products.
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, with an emphasis on Python, R, SAS, or MatLab.
  • 3+ years of experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience building AI models using Classification and Clustering techniques.
  • Expertise in visualizing and manipulating large datasets.
  • Strong experience with MS SQL and related technologies.
  • Ability to break down complex problems and develop feasible solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven record of delivering successful projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to deploy large-scale solutions to an enterprise environment.
  • Interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management processes (e.g., claims filing and adjudication) is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of work.
  • Passion for advancing AI/ML capabilities in healthcare settings
