Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee finance, accounting, and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead period-end close processes, including ERP System rollover and necessary cleanup.
  • Prepare and deliver local-level and group-level reporting on time.
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, focusing on established KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger, subledgers, and other financial records.
  • Review intercompany reconciliations and prepare journal entries as needed.
  • Develop annual budgets for local and group reporting purposes.
  • Ensure ESG and regulatory compliance, overseeing necessary reports.
  • Supervise inventory and costing adjustments, production costing, and ad-hoc report design.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and oversee tax returns and payments.
  • Participate in cash flow forecasting and AR collections meetings.
  • Assist with year-end inventory counts and internal control policy reviews.
  • Provide backup support to other departments and senior management.
Requirements
  • CPA designation or intent to pursue is an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and adapt to changing workload demands.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to perform cross-functional tasks and travel as needed.
