Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Product Network Cybersecurity Specialist with a focus on network authentication, encryption, and integrity. Experience in wireless, satellite communication or 5G network security is a significant asset. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect our organization’s computer networks from cyber threats.
Responsibilities- Design security infrastructure and systems with a focus on network authentication, encryption, and integrity
- Propose and review network security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks
- Conduct regular network security audits and tests to ensure the effectiveness of security measures
- Identify potential vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures to prevent security breaches
- Provide technical support to colleagues and draft reports on network security practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends and hacker methodologies to ensure our security measures are always one step ahead.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Security Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network authentication, encryption, and integrity measures.
- Experience with carrier ethernet, satellite communication, wireless or 5G network security is a significant asset.
- Familiarity with network authentication technologies (such as 802.1x, EAPol) and network related protocols.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and explain complex security issues in simple terms.
The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP)
