TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Software Developer in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Translate technical specifications into working applications.
  • Write code, conduct unit tests, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the SDLC.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document applications
  • Stay updated on latest design patterns and deployment techniques.
  • Meet deadlines and contribute to team success
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development
  • Proven track record of success in the public sector
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Extensive experience with Oracle SQL and Spark SQL
  • Proficiency in Power BI and DAX
  • Demonstrated expertise in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, Azure Analysis Service
  • Ability to work with complex SQL queries and organize them for readability.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and working knowledge of cloud migration.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and systematic problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
  • Prior experience in a large team environment is desirable.
Employment Details
  • Salary: $77.00HR - $85.00HR
  • Benefits: 37.5 Hours weekly, Contract, Full-Time, Hybrid
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
  • Other: 10 months contract, possibility of extension.
