As a member of the team, you will act as a technical leader in western Canada, with capacity to conduct work in other jurisdictions across Canada. Work will include technical aspects in support of ERM projects in the mining and energy sectors. Tasks include supporting and organizing projects and associated deliverables for the terrestrial biodiversity team (e.g., vegetation and wetland scopes of work), acting as a liaison between project management and technical teams, interacting with clients and subcontractors, and tracking schedules and budgets.

This posting is designed for a motivated, career-minded person who enjoys problem solving and working within a multi-stakeholder environment.

- On a project-basis, act as client point of contact and support an inter-disciplinary team with environmental impact assessment and regulatory permitting (e.g., baseline studies, facility siting and routing studies, land use planning, mitigation), as well as environmental compliance services during construction, commissioning, start-up, and operations.
- Support the coordination of field programs, including logistics (e.g., accommodations, travel) and resources (e.g., field personnel, assistants, equipment).
- Support preparation of proposals, including development of scopes and cost estimates, and participate in business development with existing clients and identified leads.
- Act as a QP (in your relevant field) in support of field teams, assisting with decision-making processes, triaging of requests, and information sharing across ERM and client teams.
- Work on multiple projects within client’s scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees worldwide.
