Proficient operating knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required. Good communication skills, initiatives and inclination to learn are to be demonstrated. Flexibility to deal with changing priorities, and the ability to systematically and reliably respond to critical situations is a must.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:AutoCAD and Revit drafting and design operationsProvide technical assistance to the Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders as follows:Maintain Design files and OQM checklists, perform Cable calculations, Perform Lighting modelling design, LV, HC, control and lighting schematic design layout and final design with minimal supervision.Ensure Introba design checklist and AutoCAD Standards are being followedCo-ordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team (i.e. Architects, Structural Consultants, Code Consultants, Geotechnical Consultants, etc.). Assistance will be provided by senior staffCo-ordinate service requirements/connections with the respective utility and/or municipal agenciesReview and process shop drawings with senior staffQualifications:Minimum 5 years AutoCAD experience coupled with 2 years design experience in LV, HV, control and lighting systems.Revit experience is also requiredAbility to read Architectural, Structural, Electrical drawings with minimal supervision provided by senior staffAbility to apply prescriptive requirements of electrical building services engineering codes with minimal supervision provided by senior staffUniversity degree or College diploma in Electrical Engineering specializationAdditional InformationIntroba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
