LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our Genetics team in Toronto, ON (175 Galaxy Blvd).

Our Medical Laboratory Technologists provide accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Through accuracy, quality, efficiency and expediting test results, you will contribute to patient well-being and the achievement of better health outcomes. p>

Status: Full Time
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm); Monday - Friday
Discipline: Genetics

  • Conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
  • Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new technology.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Advanced diploma in Clinical Genetics Technology from the Michener Institute or the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) required.
  • CMLTO registered in Clinical Genetics - Dual Molecular & Cytogenetics.
  • Good computer skills and knowledge.

Students currently enrolled in the Genetics Technology program and graduating in 2024 are eligible to apply./>
