Base pay range $40.00/hr - $42.00/hr Direct message the job poster from EPITEC Recruiter @ Epitec | MSU College of Communication Arts and Science Alumni We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for developing control algorithms and embedded code for vehicle systems. This role focuses on feature development and testing for climate control, starting systems, locking mechanisms, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seating systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and validate embedded software for automotive control systems Translate system requirements into test cases and execute black-box testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software features Conduct embedded software automation testing on hardware platforms Analyze test execution results and support defect triage and resolution Define and implement test strategies for functional and integration-level testing Author and automate test cases using Python Set up and manage test environments including Jenkins pipelines Continuously improve test coverage and quality by analyzing defect trends Required Skills & Experience: 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in embedded software development and testing Working knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN Strong understanding of test methodologies and requirement‑based testing Proficiency in Python scripting for automation Experience with requirement analysis, test strategy definition, and defect management Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, JIRA, and Jenkins Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Automation Machinery Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at EPITEC by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Embedded Software Engineer” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
