OverviewPatient Education: Project Coordinator - Patient Portal, Website, Patient and Family Education Learning Centre - Temporary Full-TimeSummary: The Project Coordinator will identify and document functionality needed from the current navigation platform E-Care at the Odette Cancer Centre for a new patient portal as part of Sunnybrook’s Health Information System. Responsibilities include documenting E-Care functionality for the patient portal, providing a comprehensive list of patient education resources for the new portal, identifying new requirements for patient education within the portal, ensuring content migration from the current content management system to the patient portal, and collaborating with the patient education team on content updates, management and creation for the new website. The Coordinator will also support the Patient Education Learning Centre operations in collaboration with the Patient Family Education Manager, including volunteer training, maintenance of education resources, and triaging patient education inquiries. This role supports a hybrid work model. Responsibilities Include Create and identify patient education resources and content to be available on the new patient portal and website Update and populate the portal and new website with patient education resources Collaborate with the patient education team on data/evaluation strategy Work with Manager of Patient Education to identify patient education functionality within the new portal Bring together key stakeholders and collaborate with clinical teams to identify patient education requirements for the new portal Audit E-care treatment plans to ascertain need for review and updating Provide part‑time oversight in collaboration with the Patient Education Manager of the Patient Education Learning Centre Facilitate training sessions for Patient Education Learning Centre volunteers Audit E-care to create an inventory of functionality for patient portal lead Identify and document E-Care functionality required for the new patient portal Reports to: Manager Patient Family Education – Cancer Program Qualifications/Skills Baccalaureate degree in a health care, business or information science-related field is required. Preferred candidate will hold a Master’s degree in information science, health administration, public health, or education, and a minimum of 2 years related experience or the equivalent. Knowledge and experience of patient education services is an asset Experience with volunteer management and coordination is an asset Content creation in patient education is preferred High degree of initiative and self-directedness Experience with content management systems like SharePoint Experience working with web-based programs Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Works well with an interprofessional team Ability to work accurately and efficiently while adapting to changing environment and priorities Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
