If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about driving DevOps excellence, this opportunity is tailored for you.**How You Will Contribute:*** Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration, delivery, and deployment.* Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance automation.* Drive technical leadership by establishing best practices and architectural standards in DevOps solutions.* Optimize infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.* Champion the adoption of modern DevOps tools, methodologies, and technologies organization-wide.* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, tools, and systems.**The Must Haves:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.* 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.* Expertise in modern DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.* Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code practices.* Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.* Proven ability to design scalable, secure systems and integrate third-party tools effectively.**Nice to Haves:*** Familiarity with Yocto Project for custom Linux distributions.* Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration at scale.* Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools like Tekton for advanced automation.* Experience with Zabbix for infrastructure monitoring.* Familiarity with Atlassian suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence) for collaboration and project management.**Pay Range:** The annual pay range for this position is in Canada is $102,800.00 - $164,200.00. #LI-JDPay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
